A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched the subject of God.
The barber said: “Look man, I don’t believe that God exists as you say so.” “Why do you say that?” - asked the client. Well, it’s so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Oh, tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can’t think of a God who permits all of these things.”
The client stopped for a moment thinking but he didn’t want to respond so as to prevent an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with a long hair and beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his cut and he looked so untidy).
Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber: You know what? Barbers do not exist.” “How come they don’t exist?”-asked the barber. ”Well I am here and I am a barber.” ”No!” - the client exclaimed. ”They don’t exist because if they did here would be no people with long hair and beard like that man who walks in the street.” “Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me.” ”Exactly!”- affirmed the client. “That’s exactly the point. God does exist, what happens is people don’t go to Him and do not look for Him that’s why there’s so much pain and suffering in the world.”

Heartwarming but silly story. It is a beautiful dialog but doesn`t have logical basis.
DO YOU REALLY BELIVE NONE OF THE POORS AND SICK PRAY GOD? AND THAT`S WHY THEY`RE POOR AND SICK? and if they prayed god, wouldn`t they be poor or sick?

Its true that god doesnot exist phisically but If you try to feel it then will find its exixtence . Something can fel only Like love .If you feel then there is love if not then it is not.

THE ONLY REASON WHY I BELIEVE GOD EXISTED IS THE CREATION OF THIS UNIVERSE.IF U SAY IT ALL HAPPENENED FROM THE BIGBANG ,THEN TELL FROM WHERE DID THE MASS THAT EXPLODED FROM THE BIG BANG COME FROM…?IT COULD’NT HAVE BEEN CREATED OUT OF NOTHING….AS THE ‘THEORY OF CHANCE’ SAYS SO.
BUT 2DAY I BELIEVE THERE IS NO GOOD REASON 2 BELIEVE IN HIS EXISTENCE..
SO I BELIEVED THAT HE CREATED THIS WORLD & DISAPPEARED & LEFT THIS WORLD 2 HIS CREATIONS….
Different examination / tests for different ppl. God test some ppl by giving them everything life has to offer………wealth, children etc and test some ppl by not giving anything to them………….. the ppl with money have a tougher test as to how they use evrything God has given to them…….do they thank Him, spend on his name, educate their kids according to His teachings. Because ppl usually go to God when they are in need………. but if they are successful they think that credit is all theirs and they do not need God……………….I will continue my comments but I just need to go for Friday prayers…….

Someone people say god doesnt exist like as if they created the world and others wanna say he does like as if they went to heaven and just got back. diffrent people have different beliefs. Its only fair to leave it like that. Different people have different problems…I dont see how some stampede in Mecca could affect another individual so deeply that they stop believing in god…

please just give it a rest!!! I mean come on there’s no need in going against other people’s beliefs. If you’re going to give an appropriate reason for not believing then do so…otherwise its basically pointless in just complaining…
let see if God doesnt exist than ….and let see if someone says that poor people doesnt pray to God ..if thay pray than why they r in this bad condition…the answer is …..if there were no poors than who would have caled u Rich and if there were no people suffering from any thing than who would have known the meaning of prosparity …well God exists and God sees every thing but there r some measures and that we peple with our small minds cant understand….

Philosophically one can not absolutly prove whether God exists or it doesn’t; especially cosidering the religious or ethical points of view towards God. Hence God’s existence merely remains a theory among millions of other alternatives.
The weekness of the client’s point of view in this story is that he wants to logically disprove God’s existence. Assume someone shows you a black box and tells you there is an apple inside. You will have no means to prove or disporve anything at all. However since there are endless possibilities to exist in the black box, I myself would not insist on just one (the existence of an apple).

I’m really sick of the idea that “There is nothing wrong with the God. It is only with us, the mortal humans, who can not form the connection”.
The reality is that this world is a gangsters’ paradise no mather if they believe in god or not.
ok i admit this is a pretty good argument.
but i to believe in science than god…..cuz philosophy or religion has been around and known to all for almost 5000 years cuz the stonehench in england is around that same time and it is pressumed to be a symbol of worshipping the sun.But science developed lets say from newton onwards so 400 years. When compared to religion this is a small period of time so it can’t possibly yet answer question like the beginning of universe and other TOUGH questions YET . so until then i think believing in god is alrite but eventually we will have to admit that there is no god.

The answer would be in the computer programmer’s facial expression. It’s like asking an artist to produce a work of art that has no meaning whatsoever. The answer would lie in the artist’s facial expression.
It is to show, what you can do, that you are born. What you do, defines you. Leave the judgement to Him.

guys give it a rest, first of all you have to believe in god and if you dont believe well you can comment there is no air cause u cant see the air but u can feel it in the wind, u can breath it…for you it may be subtle but its a life for our body…same way the faith in god is life for our soul. if you want to argue about poor and suffering people just tell me one thing..tell me why do we take birth? what is the purpose of our life? it is to evolve our soul….what we are getting in this birth is the experience we had eluded from our previous birth. however if we dont have faith in god then our life here is a waste…god is everywhere, in every being, in every particle, dont waste your time looking for god in physical form, feel him inside you, in your soul
